I decided to participate in the 2018 Smut Marathon ran by Marie Rebelle. I feel like it will be a great way to expand my writing skills, both by following certain exercises via assignments, and to get feedback on my submissions. My boyfriend also joined in, as well as a couple of blogger friends, May Moore and Nero Black.
Now that the first round of voting is done and the authors can share what they wrote, I can post it here. Aaron also gave me permission to share his.
I have to say, the assignment was very difficult, but a great experience. I have never been good at metaphors, so it was a good challenge. The assignment was to write a metaphor using only one sentence and a maximum of 30 words.
70) Love – By yours truly
Our sex is the perfect meal; an appetizer of foreplay, a filling entrèe, and a delicious dessert combined with a fine wine to make me drunk on your love .
58) World – By Aaron (HikariKitsune02)
His world collapsed down to a single point as his friend clenched down tightly onto him, buried deep as he was.
I have not had a chance yet to ask May and Nero if I can add their metaphors on here, so hop on over to the Smut Marathon Smut Marathon page and read theirs, plus the other amazing entries. There were 75 in total.
It’s so good to hear despite the difficulty of the first assignment, you found it a great experience. I hope the second round brings you much joy 🙂

Thanks for the mention – I quite liked my metaphor- and it was just that, even though many entries that were voted on were similies – although it has yo be said mine was more fun than erotic – I should have had my hero as the “sparky electrician” but i was looking for a contrast and in a moment of laughs with my man I put in the “clumsy farmer” – u gotta laugh 😉 –
Really like both of yours and look forward to your next round 😉
