TMI Tuesday – Everyday Life

Day 2, Post 2

Make TMI Tuesday a part of your life. Play it, live life. 😉

1. What makes you dislike life?

There is a lot that makes me dislike life. Work is definitely at the top of the list. I like the social aspect, but at the same time I find it very unhealthy mentally. I think my birth control is contributing to my depression again. Depression in general makes me dislike life.

2. When has a mundane occurrence or chance completely changed the course of your life?

Going to work. I went to work at the casino one day (It was my third day) and I met Aaron. After a few weeks we started talking. After a few months we started hanging out. Soon after we started dating. We have been inseparable ever since.

3. What has taken up too much of your life?

Work. I am there 9 hours a day, five days a week. When I get home I stress about it, thinking and dreading about how much I have to do and the fact that I have to go back at all.

4. What is the most ridiculous rule you have to follow?

Aaron and I are not allowed to interact at work. Currently we have to share an office, and our supervisor made it clear that we are not to talk to each other in the office in case it makes anyone feel uncomfortable.

5. What does the voice in your head say?

What doesn’t the voice in my head say would be the easier and shorter answer.

Bonus: What’s better than great sex?

Cats. Aaron’s and I’s cats. Animals don’t judge and love us for us.

Double Bonus: What makes you like life?

Aaron makes me like life. Him, our cats, and our future give me something to look forward to.

      1. I’m with you on the depression, i’ve had depression my whole life, since I was a little kid not knowing what depression was, just having a strange feeling. oh that’s so romantic how you met Aaron, like the film Casino but of course with a better ending.

        HTMIT, fellow cat-lover 🙂
